La porte du diable ... à bicyclette

With the puppet theater of La Porte du Diable mounted on two large wheels, the grease on the chains, and protein-packed calves, the team from Les Royales Marionnettes proposes to create a circular route covering approximately 20 kilometers per day, allowing them to explore an entire region and reach as many towns and villages as possible.

We wish to stay true to our desire to be an inclusive company by reaching the audience where they are. Offering a quality performance from village to village enables us to connect with people who may not usually have the opportunity to see theater: the grandmother who is too old to travel, the father who works late and doesn’t have the chance to go to the neighboring town for a cultural institution, the mother with her children who lacks transportation...

Providing a touring performance means making ourselves available to the communities, bringing them a show that is both entertaining, conscious, and of high quality, which will delight both young and old.
